Premium brands need a back story or ‘root’s but they also need to be relevant and to illustrate the world they live in and what inspires them to create and make what they do.
The oldest surviving English brand in its field, Sanderson was established in 1860. Its quintessentially English fabrics, wallpapers, paint and decorative accessories offer classic, inspirational products and exceptional quality inspired by its heritage. This backdrop of history helped us to add substance when designing a new range of complimentary products.
The range, as with many premium products exceeds what is necessary and ordinary compared to other products in their category and with this the consumer also expects a relatively high level of price, quality and aesthetics. Often these become a ‘want’ purchase rather than a ‘need’ purchase, something we were mindful of when designing the range.
